Bay of Fundy
THE BAY OF FUNDY IS PRETTY WILD
With the highest tides in the world, the Bay of Fundy is home to some of nature’s craziest phenomena! The dramatic daily tides carve away at the Hopewell Rocks, sculpt red sandstone sea caves in St. Martins, reverse the falls in Saint John, and gives folks the chance to walk on the ocean floor.
Looking for even more adventure? Whale-watching tours near Grand Manan, Saint Andrews and Campobello Island run through early October, with sightings reported throughout the fall months.
A fall road trip in New Brunswick is good for the soul…Fiery foliage, fresh crisp air, roadside markets with the seasons’ harvest, corn mazes and pumpkin patches, just to name a few of our can’t miss stops!
Hit up the Hops and Harvest or Miramichi Road Trips for craft brews and scenic valley views. How about lazy coastal drives? The Acadian shore has those in spades, plus golden sunsets and seafood straight off the boat.
Whatever you decide, here in NB the journey’s as good as the destination—maybe even better.
Our cities? They’ve got stories to tell. Take Fredericton for example, every September the Harvest Music Festival takes over downtown with soulful grooves and plenty of craft brews.
In Saint John, the newly redeveloped waterfront boasts restaurants with four-season patios on the boardwalk, cruise ship docking, Area 506 container village, and so much more.
In the hub of it all is Moncton-Dieppe – your launchpad thanks to its central location. Go leaf peeping on the Fundy Trails, or slow things down at a Nordic Spa.
Farmers’ markets, food trucks, heritage buildings, local legends—our cities are where culture comes to life. Come wander. We’ll meet you on the patio.
According to Canadian Geographic, paddling under the moonlight at Hopewell Rocks is a must! The Bay of Fundy gets extra magical after hours; see it in a whole new light.
